I tried them on and they are very comfy - I started wanting a pair myself and had to keep saying over and over "You don't need cognac boots - you don't need cognac boots!"</p> <p>The specifics: I forgot my tape-measure and they didn't have one in the store, so some of this is a guesstimate. I am 5' 4 and 3/4" tall - measurement from ankle bone to bottom of knee is approximately 13 and 1/2" - these boots hit me about 1 1/2" below the very bottom of my knee. They fit fine in the largest part of my calf - which is a little over 13" - but they gaped at the very top - probably gaped around 1 1/2" - enough that even if I needed cognac boots, I would not have bought these. </p> <p>Hope that helps! (And, BTW - it was no trouble at all!
