I kind of thought that the fabric quality might be an issue - Target in general here has gone right down hill in quality in my books but still charging more and more. Usually the stores have almost riot situations when these come out and then they're on E-Bay the same day!

Khris that's a bummer about you guys not getting it - I assumed that it was something that had already been on in USA and we were just getting it for our Summer.

You should check out the model on the website too, looks like she's watching paint dry!

I know that people were going gaga over her collection for GapKids. I saw a few of the items in the store and they were actually pretty decent quality (but much higher than the Target price point).

I agree with the others - the fabrication for the Target designer collections always kills it. I bought a liberty top from Target & ended up returning it. I thought the Eugenia Kim hats were adorable but none of the cute ones fit my head!

I can't believe they are getting a Stella McCartney line and it won't be in the US! I think the current Tucker line has decent quality if you can stand polyester.

I agree the quality of the fabrics is almost always awful. In any case, it looks like most of us won't get our hands on this collection since it will be released exclusively in Australia.

I have personally not had much luck with the quality of Target designer collections. Everything would look on the website and then I would get really disappointed in the store. The only piece that has held up well for me is a BF cardi from Thakoon collection.

SMC collection looks very nice, and I really like that white lace top. Let's hope that the quality is decent.

i've been really happy with a pair of slip-ons from miss trish of capri and a sheath dress from liberty. these items seem to wear really well.

agree with annagybe that quality suffers...cheap fabrics mostly. i would be wondering about this specifically with stella mccartney, especially with the streamlined silhouettes which really need good fabrication to look good and hang well.

Don't know if Target in Australia is exactly the same as in the U. S. But of the designer collections I've seen here are more misses in quality than hits. Thought I'm a sucker for some of the designs and still buy a few pieces.

Just got an email this morning about this for our Target stores in Oz.

http://www.designersfortarget.com.au/sm/

I am a little bit excited, the last designer range at Target was pretty bland and these pieces look very nice. I'm wondering if this range has been through in any other countries and if anyone has any experiences with the quality etc?
