I have spent most of my summer in dresses and sandals. I am so happy when I find a dress that works well. I am in love with the colors and patterns of these dresses. I agree with Delurked, that when you find a dress that fits well and looks nice, get it, especially if it isn't too short! Good title too. :)</p> <p>It's been said on the forum that when you are looking for dresses you can't find them. When you aren't they find you. I've been looking fruitlessly this summer for a more covered, casual dress. Since I'm tall, I'm running into the issue of too short. A few years ago I found a whole slew of them, but most of them were going out type dresses, and I don't need more of that style at all. </p> <p>I say whenever you find a good dress you get it, unless it's so fancy you'll never be able to wear it. It's good to have them when you need them. Plus, dresses are fun and easy to wear. Dresses were not on my shopping list.</p> <p>So, I decided I should start </p> <p>wearing the 4 knee length dresses I already own. And then see if I needed the new one. And I have probably now worn the ones I previously owned all told 6-7 times. Which is how many times I wore them in the previous 5 years.</p> <p>I brought home the dress the SA picked and pondered whether I should keep it. Then I wondered how could I know that the one she picked was the one when there was that lovely blue print one. I ordered it and loved it. Then I realized the dress lengths weren't really short, just short because the models were tall, so I ordered 2 more. One of them reminded me of a dressy red and black jacket I loved but is now long gone for a good reason-I lost weight. And one is more what I was looking for in a winter dress.<br />Well, I need to go up a size in one, but I might keep all of them.&nbsp;</p> <p>NAS may cost me much more than expected. But I really didn't buy a lot of clothes when I lost weight, so I feel this is a way to celebrate my progress.</p> <p> </p>
