I have statement pants: wide-legged, plaid, polka-dot. I have statement shoes: red leather ankle boots, glitter-covered mary-janes, silver mary-janes. My burgundy lace-up boots always get people's attention, though I don't consider them to be "statement" boots in the traditional sense.&nbsp;Some of my accessories -- hats and scarves -- can make a statement. My tops tend not to be particularly statement-y, except for the occasional graphic tee (I've found that a cute critter on a tee is guaranteed to get comments!). I have a couple of statement toppers, but find them a bit harder to wear.&nbsp;</p> <p>I do not really look to jewelry or eyewear to make a statement. I only wear sunnies, no prescription, so can't rely on them as an outfit component.
