Hi Dusty, good luck as I know how difficult it is, since I have exactly the same calf circumference. Would you consider slouchy boots? I have also had luck with brand Sudini.

I have been trying to find boots with two clients (this is Seattle after all), over the last fortnight and there is a little bit of stock but NO sizes. We are waiting for the NAS.

Check out barefoottess.com. They cater to us large-of-foot. Usually their boot selection is amazing... not so much right now because it isn't the right season yet. Still, a good website to keep in mind.

You're smart to begin now, Dusty, because the difficulty of finding narrow-calf boots -- particularly in a more modest price range -- is well documented on this forum. Keep us posted, because some of us will be eager to hear what's out there!

I wasn't able to find low-heeled high boots last winter and I know I'm going to be hard to fit, so I'm starting now. I want a pair of black knee-high boots with a low heel to wear with dresses and skirts (and hopefully leggings, but those are thing, so it should work, right?). I don't really care if they're leather or not, but I do want a classic style that isn't going to look dated any time soon. My budget is low, $100-150 max. Now the really difficult part, it seems. I wear size 11 and my calves are very narrow (12 3/4"). Searching online, I've seen several pair that say 13" calf measurement, but that's always for the size 7 and they always make the calves larger as the shoes size go larger, it seems. Any ideas for brands to look at as the fall boots start to come out?

I'd also like a pair of low-heeled booties - I've got some shorter boots to wear with boot legged jeans, but I don't think they'll work with leggings and dress, I think they're too tall. I may not be able to afford both this year and I may have better luck with the booties, so ideas for those would be appreciated as well.
