Sometimes we build stuff up in our heads and then when we try on, its really underwhelming. </p> <p>Joy, I'll definitely mix with other colours too, just wanted to get a collection of white/off white for tonal dressing. Many of these pieces could be used in a variety of seasons too. I'm more of an all season wardrobe type of person. For example the same skirt i'd just wear thick tights for winter and without any tights for summer. Tops I wear all year round too. I would probably need to add a good few more knits and tops, maybe some blouses to make this more rounded but definitely restricted by budget right now. </p> <p>Slimcat, oatmeal is a great idea. Sleeveless tops aren't very popular here, most people like to cover their arms (and I do too, in summer I burn so easily) so I don't really have any tanks/vests to be used as non-underwear pieces. It adds a special something. I wear white jeans with other neutrals and every color, especially if a top is a print with white in it. The idea of the white rubber boots is great. It will add the texture of the rubber. I have a white quilted vest that I like to wear with white jeans and a striped tee. That quilted vest is another texture. It is more of a silvery white, and also looks big with an ivory white pull over sweater. If more warmth is needed try a winter white cable knit scarf and beanie<br /> Try black or brown and white. For Spring try navy or pastels or brights with white jeans. For the holidays, a sparkly top or topper will be perfect with the jeans for a casual but festive get together. These are mainly just ideas but i'd really LOVE to get those Chloé rubber boots to use as wet weather boots. </p> <p>I think the Stella McCartney winter coat is a bit pie in the sky thinking as it is very very expensive. As a vegan there is so little choice and I really never know what to wear with dressier pieces. I can't wear wool coats and the ones blended without wool all tend to be very low quality. I suppose I am just going to have to keep our fingers crossed that our PM wants to hand out another stimulus to us all (and maybe boost his re-election chances next month) but probably no chance... </p>
