On the one hand I think the color is amazing, and I get the appeal of a flat scrunchy style boot. But I haven't yet seen them look right on anyone. To me, it's almost like the reverse problem with cropped pants and capris; the boot seems to end at the widest part of the calf and it looks like the leg is bursting out of them strangely. I had the same reaction to seeing them oN Dani too so I don't think it's your height. </p> <p>But everyone else seems to live them so maybe it's just something I am not seeing. His only requirement is that I wear flat, comfortable shoes I can walk in - so I thought he'd be thrilled with these boots! When he does have particularly strong opinions, I have to listen. Doesn't mean I bend to his opinion - I am free to wear what I want! So I am inclined to get them to work somehow. </p> <p>But, since I'm short, I do worry that even with all the scrunching in the world, they may still be too high for my short leg?? </p>
