It sounds like maybe a more thorough soaking with Oxyclean is in order! Yes, zoiechic, I hate it when wardrobe items attack. I had high hopes for wearing these boots with a lot of things, but if this is going to happen, it's going to limit how much I can wear them.

I haven't tried the Max Force version of Oxyclean. I'm actually using Oxo-Brite, which is the more natural version of Oxyclean. But it works quite well.

Kkards, I didn't run the skirt through the dryer, so I don't think any additional harm has been done. Here's hoping!

Oh, I am sorry to hear that happened to your skirt! It's frustrating when your outfit items seem to be attacking each other, so to speak!
I am a big oxyclean max force fan, it generally removes the stains on my kids clothes well. Also have had some good results with the Tide to go pens.

soaking....possiblely overnight. with some oxyclean....hopefully its not to late--didn't see this earlier, but don't let it dry (which could "set" the stain) until you have given up.....

I don't have any personal experience with this, but a few reads on google, I thought this seemed the most promising: http://www.howtocleanstuff.net.....-clothing/

I wore a pair of suede black OTK boots underneath a long, light-colored skirt last night. When I took the skirt off, I saw that there was a lot of discoloration along the inner hem and a couple of inches above, from where the dye of the boots had worn off onto the skirt. Since the skirt is light colored, you can see a bit of dinginess even from the outside. Any suggestions for getting the stain off? I tried a stain stick before regular machine washing, but that didn't do anything. I tried putting on an Oxyclean paste, and that didn't seem to do much--but I didn't let it sit all that long. I also tried putting on some dish soap, which helped a tiny bit but not much.
