Yes, zoiechic, I hate it when wardrobe items attack. I had high hopes for wearing these boots with a lot of things, but if this is going to happen, it's going to limit how much I can wear them.</p> <p>I haven't tried the Max Force version of Oxyclean. I'm actually using Oxo-Brite, which is the more natural version of Oxyclean. But it works quite well.</p> <p>Kkards, I didn't run the skirt through the dryer, so I don't think any additional harm has been done. When I took the skirt off, I saw that there was a lot of discoloration along the inner hem and a couple of inches above, from where the dye of the boots had worn off onto the skirt. Since the skirt is light colored, you can see a bit of dinginess even from the outside. Any suggestions for getting the stain off? I tried a stain stick before regular machine washing, but that didn't do anything. I tried putting on an Oxyclean paste, and that didn't seem to do much--but I didn't let it sit all that long. I also tried putting on some dish soap, which helped a tiny bit but not much. </p>
