Not sure about how it would work on wool, but I managed to completely remove a rather large red wine stain from my white cotton jacket by soaking it for a couple of hours in a small tub of cool water with 1/2 cup of vinegar added to the water. That was after I tried the club soda method (didn't work) and laundry soap (turned the pink stain blue). At that point, I didn't figure I had anything to lose so tried the vinegar which worked like a charm. After the stain was removed, I laundered the jacket as normal to remove the vinegar smell.

I wish I knew but I have read about using those powdered drinks as dye so I suspect it is extremely hard to remove.

Good luck.

I would probably try one of those Tide stain remover pens or the stuff that comes with Dryell first. Soak it in cold water so it doesn't dry.
