That's good advice from Gigi!. I have a pair that squeak, but it's because they're cheap I think. Your situation is different because they're suddenly started making noises. Strange.

I would say that if you really want to keep any of the shoes, take them to a cobbler for his advice. I did have a pair of boots that I had worn hardly at all that started squeaking. The cobbler told me that the shank had come loose, and he pounded in a couple of tacks in the sole to secure it. Annoying sound gone!

I think it depends why they are squeaky - sometimes mine squeak because i need new heel caps. Is that the reason yours are?

So lately i noticed that some of my shoes started to squeak with my strides. All diff kinds, boots, heels, flats, leather or none. Is that a sign for retirement? Some of these are fairly regularly worn 1-2 years, but this happened to some not so frequently worn shoes as we'll. as if one day it want it's voice to be heard.

Any remedy from the wise YLF?
