I love winter myself, and particularly after having spent a lot of time in some very hot places earlier in the year, so I don't want to think about spring yet -- though I do like spring and autumn too. OTOH, if I had spent any time in Canadian snow and freezer temperatures this winter I'm sure I'd be longing for summer by now.

I have continued to wear dresses through the winter but haven't had to don my snow boots yet so let's see what happens to my style if we get some significant weather!

I hate winter, so I am loving my summer clothes. As Deborah says, we still have a number of hot months ahead of us, so it will seem odd when the winter stock lands in February.

I have no business thinking about Spring clothes already as our high tomorrow is forecast to be a whopping 6F/-14C and a low of -2F/-18C. Yeah. And Wednesday's not much better, which will make the New Year's celebration outfit a bit more focused on warm layers than anything else.

I must remember that shopping for Spring items does not bring Spring weather any sooner, though it is a joy to look at what's coming and to remember that I *will* be able to put the puffer away at some point in the coming months.

We have probably 3, it could be 4 warm months still ahead of us but I am already planning for the cooler weather. I have developed the habit of planning early. I also love Autumn/Winter clothing. My summer wardrobe is in good shape and I really don't need anything further so I am focusing on what I think I need for the cooler months like the EF skirted leggings and a few new draped winter toppers

I can relate. I've been planning my spring sewing for the last week or so. Done with winter. But I am done with winter every year after the first week without much sun, so nothing new here. Just ready to move back to Florida.

I hope you feel better soon.

Deb we are more like 50F/65F here and as far as I am concerned winter has begun and it is time for the wool coats. But always happy to anticipate pointy white shoes!

But on a positive note, I am not sick of my winter clothes yet. Still looking forward to wearing certain combinations. :)

Unfortunately, many of us have a good three months of cold Winter ahead of us BEFORE we can truly enjoy wearing Spring fashion. But we can start thinking about it in earnest, which is part of the fun.

I want to try these red trousers too - like now:

YES. I LOVE Spring Fashion, because of the colours more than anything else.

Refresh your memory of Spring Trends with this post:

http://youlookfab.com/2014/10/.....mmer-2015/

And we will probably all do a little more waist defining:

http://youlookfab.com/2014/10/.....the-waist/

First items on my Spring shopping list are these white Paul Green loafers. I also want cognac Summer footwear, and white specs. Possibly new watches too - and ooooohhhhhh - where do I begin with all the clothing I want. Pastels with brights for starters. White ankle strap pointy toe pumps......the list goes on.

All our snow melted and we had Spring like weather the past three days here in the snow belt. It has given us time to clean up from the Nor'easter which knocked over a few trees and with the help of the municipal plow, toppled our mail box!

I have yet to think about my Spring clothes I'm waiting until next year!

It was 60F here on Saturday, so it felt like spring, and I'm ready. Unfortunately, since November was colder than the end of December I think it's going to be one of those seasonally confused years, where I'm gong to be wearing a lot of winter coats and bear ankles.

Yes, I get that.
Fortunately, I am still having fun with my winter wardrobe since our coldest weather is yet to come.
I'm afraid to buy spring- summer too soon because I have a feeling I really do not know what I need or want and could leap before I look.

It's the footwear issue, for summer, plus the pants silhouette and what will carry over successfully from this past year, of not.

I hear you. I'm over winter clothes already too . Didn't find it a particularly inspirational season for new looks but I'm really interested what we're seeing so far for Spring. It's that possibility of discovery that keeps us moving forward, doesn't it? Spring is so much easier to dress for too - I already miss thinner layers, prettier colours, etc. Bring it on!

The cold finally hit here a couple of days ago. I know, I know, 32F/50F is not considered cold for night/day for a lot of you but, for me, I am freezing. I have also had the ugly virus going around and feel like crap. I really want to sit out in the warm sun. Then the spring catalogues started showing up on Friday and made me really crave nice weather and spring clothes. I have been laying in be planning spring outfits when I really should be planning winter outfits. Silly me. Anyone else feeling this way?
