I like the striped ones. I was expecting big broad stripes of equal width from your description, so I was pleasantly surprised that they are thick and thin which appeals to me more and I think are more flattering. I would still like a more silky feeling pair but don't want a drawstring waist or an avante garde style and the options seem to always be one or the other. Or they are only 3" inseam.</p> <p>The striped chambray could be risky (widening effect) I suppose, but I wear denim so much that many of my tops would go with these and at least they are different than just regular jean shorts that I seemed to live in last year. </p> <p>The white "walking" shorts are to fill the void for a more streamlined pair of white shorts that my KUT BF white shorts couldn't fill. I still wear them sometimes but they are just a little bulky feeling in the leg and it bugs me. </p> <p>The distressed denim are something I maybe could have created from old jeans but I cut off two pair last year and I really didn't want to give up another pair but wanted a lighter wash and I really do enjoy my distressed slim jeans so I figure I need a pair of shorts to fill that same category in the hotter weather. </p>
