Great choices, I hope they work out. I especially like the first and the last pair.

I am very curious about the flats. The straps make them much more fun than normal ballet flats! I agree about the support on EF, unfortunately...

I have been reading this thread with great interest. I have the same fussy feet as you but without the bunions. I am going to check out your 1, 2, and 3 suggestions. Love them, thanks!

If you ever have a need for some rugged, little workhorse sandals, these Eccos have been a life saver for me. I have worn them on vacation and according to my pedometer have logged 10 mile walking days in them with no pain.

http://www.zappos.com/ecco-spo.....lack-black

My podiatrist made a suggestion concerning orthotics that I have used and will pass on for others consideration. Take self adhesive Velcro dots and adhere one to the bottom heel of the orthotic and the mate to the inside heel area of the sandal. The orthotics can then be used in some sandals, and depending on the sandal, are not noticeable at all.

I have used this with the above Ecco sandals and a pair of Naots. I can finally wear sandals again without pain. Priceless!!

I like all of your selections Shannon and am very tempted to try the Clarks too. I think I mentioned that on the other thread. If they work for you, they may not work for me as I have low volume feet though.

I like the look of the first Naot but am wondering if they are too heavy for our summers. I can't quite wrap my head around wearing a black leather shoe with that much coverage in the heat of summer. It has been a long winter so it is easy to forget what 30-35C with a plus in front of it feels like. :)

The second Naot reminds me of Suz's Sofft metallic sandals. These ones have the interesting circle detail that adds an element of interest.

I like all these options and they seem very well thought out to fill specific places in your wardrobe. I hope you find those Clarks somewhere because it's a great looking shoe.

Well done! Each have there own unique vibe. You have great variety in this collection. And none of them look like "comfort shoes." They seem to fit right in with your need for fluid + structure...and your "refined edge". (I think this is Meredith's term, actually I think she used "refined rocker" to describe traekkie girl (I'm not spelling this correctly).

Hi Shannon, I haven't had a chance to dive into your other post, but I will. My feet are becoming fussier and fussier. I really like all the options you've narrowed down here. Love Sharans taupe Naots and would love to see how the black ones look on the foot. Keep us updated! Thanks for doing all the legwork (or footwork ;)) for other fussier feet

So if you've survived reading my threads lately whining about foot woes and what shoes to buy for Spring/Summer - thank you! Your wisdom and input has helped me tremendously in moving forward with some purchase decisions.

Here are the links to my previous posts should you want to have a look:
http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....oes-update
http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....oes-i-like

Based on my needs for both comfort and style, these are the items I will be trying out:

#1 - Naot criss cross flats. Firecracker has these in the taupe shade and I adore them on her. But it's black flats I'm after and since I can always bookend black with my hair, that's what I've ordered. They should be here in a couple of days and I'll report back after arrival. Unfortunately after a bit more research, I have determined the Eileen Fisher ankle strap flats that look so fab will not provide enough arch support.

#2 - Naot gold Gladiator style sandal. A versatile color and style that should work with both casual and more dressy items, weekends and at work. I love the detailing on the front panel.

#3 - white Birkenstock Arizonas. Birks were made for my weird little feet and I wore the heck out of my black/white polka dot ones last summer. These will be my white footwear this warm season.

#4 - Clarks lower heeled version of the SE Okala - available in wide. My issue will be finding these in Canada - so far, no luck.

What I have already in my spring/summer shoe capsule and will be still wearing happily are:

black/white polka dot Birks

bone/silver Fugitive shoe sandals

cream laser cut oxfords

Thanks again soooooo much for all of your help ladies - luv ya :)
