Yeah. Those sandals won't work for low volume feet. They fall off my feet despite being the right length.

These work for low volume feet, and in some instances you can order the narrow.

Those are all really cute. Still love the Mirabelles. Of the tennis shoes, the pineapple ones are really cute but I wonder if the Nine West would be more versatile, because of being plainer? They really look like they fit well.

Sure RobinF I've posted pics of the Mirabelle's below. Pics 1,2. Not sure I love them enough to try another size. My toes are very short (big toe is about 1.5") so that might have something to do with why I don't like the look (can't believe I am talking about toe measurements here...LOL).

The 9 west and pineapple slip-ons have arrived. Pics 3,4,5. Love them both, this is going to be a tough choice. Any votes?

Still waiting for a few to arrive. So far the winner for the sandals is one I forgot to post and just added here.

I love those Mirabelle's but wouldn't want to have too much toe showing. Do you have a pic of them on you? I also have problems with straps being too loose and sometimes find going down a half size helps.

A couple of these have arrived...both are the right length...but...

The Damara sandals do not work for my low-volume feet. Even on the tightest strap adjustment (which is velcro) they are too loose around he instep. I'm very picky about this issue because I once paid a cobbler to have some sandals with this problem taken in and it really didn't help much because sandals stretch with wear. Really nice almost bronze color.

Similar issue with the Mirabelle. It has a buckle which is more adjustable than Velcro (just poke new holes), but the toe strap does not cover my toes at all which looks and feels very odd. It's as if the straps that are supposed to be near the toe are way up on my instep. There is a slightly lavender feel to the silver, very pretty.

Both are really nice in quality etc and would be good for those with higher volume feet.

Good suggestion on darker colors. I have been into almost exclusively black shoes for many years with a little bit of tan in the warmer months and I'm trying to break out of that, but that doesn't mean no black shoes ever again. I don't really care whether you are enabling or sensible...I just think it's good advice

Hi Chris --

Looks like some great choices on their way to you!

Sandals are one of those items that seem to look totally different on people so I'll wish you luck. If you need help deciding and model them for us I'll aim to vote!

My only thought is since you wear a lot of darker colors and you say your current sandals are pretty well-worn, you may want to scope out if any of the styles you ordered come in black or a dark shade (I find pewter metallic really versatile...tones in well with dark denim, charcoal, and black).

That way if you're torn between say, the Demarra and Mirabelle, you can order one in a dark shade and keep the other in the light metallic. That sounds like enabling, doesn't it -- meant to sound sensible! ;)

My casual spring/summer shoe capsule is pitiful, a big hole in my wardrobe. Makes me think of Lying Eyes by the Eagles…”…did she get tired or did she just get lazy….”, although that song is not about shoes and I am neither tired nor lazy :-)

It's not quite warm enough for sandals yet (some people are pushing it) but they are what I wear most of the time from June through September here in MA. Pics # 1 - 5 are what I have now, leaving out a few pairs of higher heeled black sandals. Mostly extremely casual or sporty, and mostly well-worn. The cognac woven loafers and ankle boots ( #4 and 5) were purchases earlier in the spring, and am wearing a lot. The boots are unbelievable comfortable. They will be good in the fall too. The two in #1 that look similar are duplicates in tan and black. #5 is tan, not beige as it looks in the pic

My wardrobe these days is denim, black, navy, blue, grey with a little olive/white/beige/tan. I have very low volume feet (probably like yours Angie), can't do any backless shoes, and non-adjustable straps across the instep are usually too loose on me.

After much study I decided that I want to add three types of shoes… classic sneakers, slip-on sneakers, and a cage-style sandal, all more “current/stylish” and all in grey/silver. One gold snuck in.

Pics #s 6-12 are what I just ordered, hoping some of them work out. Would love to hear any feedback.

I can’t remember ever wearing sneakers of any kind except for walking/running and don’t remember the last time I wore metallic sandals so these will all be new adventures!
