Rosy lip, clean eye makeup.</p> <p>Sunglasses, when worn, are big, heavy, Jackie-O.</p> <p>Toppers are structured, have weight, and a menswear feel.</p> <p>Bags are big and slouchy, straw/raffia woven, or compact leather squares.</p> <p>Not really seeing much in the way of jewelry.</p> <p>With the exception of the yellow sandals, the footwear is clean-cut, not overly-fussy or scrappy.</p> <p>Same with the outfits. Not seeing a lot of bells, whistles or fuss.</p> <p>Nearly everything looks freshly pressed or steamed. No overtly wrinkly fabrics.</p> <p>All of these outfits have an element of polish to them, but all of these outfits still look everyday and practical. You can really move in these outfits - walk your dogs, run after your kids, climb a ladder, weed the garden, in most of these outfits. Like most apartment-dwellers these days, the great majority of my time is spent indoors, but I still venture out periodically in street clothes for fresh air and needed errands. (That is, when I'm not out jogging every other day in gear.) And my dressing habits at home are changing too to accommodate warmer weather and better light!</p> <p>Below are some images of inspiration that I'm liking for spring, which I thought I might share here to see if I can establish any through-lines that might help me put together outfits with what I have at home and to guide any new purchases I will make as/when needed (not immediately).</p> <p>Light neutrals in the range of coffee, khaki, tench, cream, and white seem to be present throughout, with a combo of classic, 90's, and 70's style notes. </p> <p>What else do you see?</p> <p>Thanks so much for looking! </p> <p><b>ETA</b>: So grateful for all your thoughts and feedback.
