What about Birkenstocks? (The Arizona) They have been trending for a few years. You can adjust the straps as the day wears on and your feet swell.

I have bunions and arthritis, along with toe pain and numbness. I wear Dansko sandals and Alegria clogs; other brands such as Cobb Hill and Earth when my feet aren't being that fussy.

Hi Donna! First, I would have my feet checked by a podiatrist or a foot doctor to make sure you don't have an issue that could be solved with a sole or other treatment. I'm mentioning this because it's my case (bunion, hallux rigidus) and it started off with me finding I couldn't wear my shoes for more than 2-3hrs without suffering and swelling.
The solution might be as simple as sizing up half a point, even if it means padding one shoe or part of the shoe with an insole.

If you have great legs then you might enjoy Fluevogs a lot: they are as comfortable as runners and VERY stylish. Unfort VERY expensive too. But worth the try.

Then there is Dansko, especially the Thea in nude, it is very practical for the summer and can be worn with skirts and dresses without looking too heavy (because they're nude).

The two styles above are orthopedist-approved, because they have the advantage of not bending in the middle and offering great support to your whole foot. You don't need to bend the toe as much, which helps a lot in terms of fatigue. Therefore they are 8hr shoes.

The swelling problem comes from 1) bending at the ankle and at the toes 2) toes being constricted because heels push them forward downward. If you can find a pair of stylish shoe that does not do this you are in business.

I also like the German brand Ara, they usually make shoes with the fussy feet in mind, so does MizMooz but those tend to be a hit or miss with me. But they do make some killer platform styles, which is what you need.

Lately, I have discovered Rockport's Total Motion line and I am trying them out. So far I love them. They might do the trick for you if you don't have any other issue.

I have great legs ankles and feet when I get up but by the end of the day die to sitting they are swollen and look huge. Are there any trendy stylish shoes sandals I can look at? Thanks
