I could be swayed. I think my white jeans would have to be a "dirtied" grey or off-white, for practicality's sake. I do have a denim jacket in bright white -- I baby it.&nbsp;</p> <p>Bijou -- yes, wearing not-boots is pretty great! I'm glad my hair doesn't look like a total mess. Worth the wait. And yeah, Uniqlo is great. Whenever I'm curious about a new silhouette or style, I head to Uniqlo and see if there's an affordable version I can experiment with -- and sometimes the Uniqlo version ends up being the best anyway! I'm trying to be reallllly disciplined about not adding anymore graphic tees for myself this year -- but I have a 4yo to shop for too, so that should keep that itch scratched, lol.&nbsp;</p> <p>Aida -- I'm pretty excited about finding light colours that feel "me" -- and then looking over these I realized that&nbsp;<b>all&nbsp;</b>the bottoms are black! But that's okay. I love the way these soft colours look next to black. For me, it's just-springy-enough. But I'll wear these pieces with my lighter denim, too, for a true warm-weather palette.&nbsp;</p> <p>Gradfashionista -- This warm snap has me feeling totally skeptical. It's not often I find a great fit in jeans, and at $68 I would gladly add a second pair if the right colour comes along.</p> <p>Lisa -- I haven't had brand new black denim in a long time. I actually prefer very faded blacks, but these fit so nicely I'm sure I'll find ways to wear them. Everlane calls them "Stay Black" and are touting their dye process as something special. I haven't had the dye rub off on anything yet, so that's a good sign. And the lint... Well, the lint roller is really the last bastion of suffer-for-fashion for me. There aren't many hoops I jump through for the sake of looks, but I'm not about to give up wearing black. The Campus is identical to the Gazelle, I think, except it lacks the toe stitching. When it rains it pours, I guess.</p> <p>The Cat, I'm not much of a skirt person in colder weather -- tights are never warm enough for me and I don't enjoy the feeling of layering multiple pairs of tights, so that means I really only wear skirts and dresses with leggings in the winter, so very casual. I'm not a big fan of shorts, so I'm moving towards skirts for warm weather wear. The gingham top in muddy colours is one of my favourite summer shirts. The graphic tee is from Uniqlo, I think it was a collaboration with a Norwegian designer, but I cannot remember the name.</p> <p>Delurked, it's interesting how high-rise jeans are so difficult for some and so much easier for others. As rises have gotten higher and legs have gotten looser, I finally feel like there are some jeans out there for me again! Anything extremely tapered or with a rise lower than 9" is pretty much a no-go for me. Thank goodness for retail variety!</p> <p>JAileen and Laurel -- my initial thought was to go with the taupe, because it seems so nice and "beachy" somehow. But it would have been the only taupe in my whole wardrobe, and I don't feel like starting a new capsule from scratch this year. I have a fair amount of blush and rose right now -- my sunglasses, my fisherman's cap, a rose-quartz pendant I wear often (see #5), and a hoodie.
