cat2 -- I'm a big fan of Supergoop's product line. Their Part Powder is genius (I keep it in the car and make my thinning-haired husband use it when he forgets his hat). Those REN products look great.

Joy -- I always have some Aquaphor on hand; it saves my lips on ski/snowshoe days in the winter -- I really struggle with windburn.

Still panning sun screen, lipstick and hand lotion. I prefer CerVe lotion or even Aquaphor.

I have sensitive skin and like the REN Rosa Centifolia cleansing gel. I have one freebie tube of horrible sunscreen from Juice Beauty to use up, and the rest of last summer’s SuperGoop sunscreen oil. I will rebuy Shiseido sunscreen for my face and SuperGoop for the rest of me; I particularly like the Hand Screen. Then I think I am done with the pan out project, except for a very slow rolling test of primer and BB cream samples.

Glad to know I'm not the only person with surplus sunscreen nearing its expiration!

FI -- I love Weleda's calendula line. It inspired me to start making my own calendula oil last summer. Very easy plant to grow with lots of benefits!

notsaf -- I've looked at Tatcha before and their products look intriguing.

Runcarla -- my mom used to use Noxema as well. I can still remember the smell. :)

Suntiger -- I'm auditioning some new shampoo/conditioner combos. I have a bunch of travel/sample sizes to work through. I only wash my hair once or twice a week, so it takes forever.

Sal -- small cabinets is a good way to stay disciplined! The linen closet in my bathroom is way bigger than it needs to be, and it fills up with extras, back-ups, rejects...

bj111 -- that Bigelow Night Balm looks great! Adding to my list.

going in reverse! bought neutrogena water boost hydrogel spf 15. didn't finish the tube but loved the texture that i bought spf 50, even though i still had 2 open tubes of anessa sport and some other asian suncream.

i did use up all my tubes of co bigelow night balm for lips--my fave. finally replenished from our nyc trip.

bought the wrong shampoo--not conditioning shampoo. dries out my hair. luckily i had a kiehls olive oil conditioner that i stopped using--now i'm back on that bus.

used up a gel liner finally! now replaced.

finally gave away my hotel toiletries to a women and kids shelter and threw away the one-offs.

I'm panning old sunscreens and still the Olay scrub my friend gave me. The only HABAs I've bought lately have been shampoo/conditioner and haircolor.

Well done!

I do have a couple of cleansers I am working through and some random shampoo and conditioner purchased when away and didn't have any. Our new bathroom cabinet is small so minimalism is needed.....

Still working on last year’s sunscreen. I figure one more month to use up the old stuff. Picked up one new one - SPF 50 because it is scent free and identified as being for sensitive skin. One single tube of body lotion left to use up. It’s a thick one so a little heavy for summer. I’m using it on elbows, knees, and ankles.

Picked up a tube of Elizabeth Arden 2 in 1 Cleanser (all skin types) last week, and I’m enjoying it for all the reasons you are liking the Holifrog. It has a menthol feel that reminds me of Noxema (used it during my teen years) - so a bit of nostalgia too.

My ongoing HABA clean-out has slowed way down as I've pretty much run out of usable samples, culled all the unusable dregs, and I've started replenishing my staple products as needed. In March/April/May/June, I've managed to use up:

1) A gifted tube of Honey House Naturals lip balm (quite liked this and would gladly re-purchase.)

2) An economy sized bottle of Aveeno Baby Daily Moisture Lotion (my go-to; will definitely buy again)

3) An old bottle of Weleda Calendula Baby Wash that DS decided to refuse to use because it has the word "Baby" in the name (he's 7). I found it made a pretty good shaving lotion!

4) A fancy-for-me facial cleanser called Holifrog Tashmoo Milky Wash. It isn't all that different from cheaper non-foaming cleansers, like Cetaphil and Cerave (which I can buy in economy-sized bottles for a fraction of the price), but this makes my skin feels so soft and nice when I use it and manages not to cause any redness/irritation. I don't plan on using it all the time, but might splurge on it for the driest months of winter.

If other sensitive/dry skin folks have recommendations for facial cleansers, especially fragrance-free and non-foaming, I'm all ears. I'm thinking of trying Peet Rivko Gentle Cleanser at some point. I mostly just stick with Cetaphil and Cerave because they're cheap and not-bad. :)

I also had to cull a bottle of lotion that separated/curdled (so gross!) and am trying to use up last year's sunscreens before they expire.

Anyone else still panning? Any insights to share?
