Hmmm, looks like I have to do some photo sessions and post this weekend. Kids might be willing to take photos if I bribe them....luckily shopping works for the 14 year old!

Earthy, I like that Suz, thanks! That helps! And I realize it is true in the colors also. I do bold colors, in mostly solids, for work, but these are much more toned down and yes, earthy, with alot more pattern.

Cool exercise, Jayne! And what a great idea.

I think the moto (is that what the coat is?) will work with these, yes. (It looks very cool, by the way. Have we seen it?)

There is definitely a western and ethnic or maybe an "earthy" feel to these -- something organic, maybe? In a way, the style of the moto seems at odds with that, yet I think the colours may help it to blend. Still, might have to see it all together.

After studying and playing and planning my work outfits in this post:
http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....evelations
and my horrid revelation about brown shoes, I realized that if I am going to get any wear out of the casual capsule I had better plan some outfits. So, using my litle app to put together a few outfits. This should be a reasonable amount to actually wear in the coming spring months, before I break out dresses for summer!

I thought it was interesting when I was done and looked at all the outfits together...I seem to have a theme going....something along the lines of western, native american, or ethnic, and a dash of RATE.

Note that pics 3 and 4 are inspired by gals here (or Angie) on YLF ;)
I have already worn 5, wild patterns overboard, but I loved it!

After I put these together I was trying to figure out which coats I have that will go with these outfits. I posted that last. Will that work? Else, I am needing something and I would love ideas of what I should look at to complement this casual capsule.

I don't do olive near my face so military and camoflage are out for jackets.

Just for reference, I would probably use my brown suede bag with the fringe for most of these, if you don't think that just pushes the look overboard. I also have a simple black shopper i use alot on weekends. It will do for these I believe.

Last question, from this collection, what would my style be called? It seems pretty different from the work stuff!

thanks for looking and reading!
