Regarding spray hair removals: they are not as good as they sound, in my opinion. I have tried Nair and Veet. First of all, be warned that cream hair removals like this smell FUNKY. In addition, do NOT leave them on too long. They will begin to take off a little skin when you wipe them off, and may sting a little. If you are looking for hair removal that lasts longer than shaving, consider waxing over creams. There are a lot of waxes on the market for sensitive skin and you get used to it. Leg waxing is not all that bad. If you are going to try the creams, do as Ana said and test a little patch. These are all my opinions from my experiences, so who knows, you may try one and love it. If you do, let me know!

Regarding self tanners, I use those gradual lotion tanners and they are the best. Jergens has a good one, but I prefer Dove's Energy Glow. It smells nice (much better than Jergens), it's easy on the skin, and it gives you a natural glow that builds everyday you use it. I have not used the instant tanning lotion kinds because every friend I have who uses them looks like a pumkin...with streaks. Not so fab.

Ana on "Spray hair removal?"

Hmm.....which tanning sprays did you use, Shannon? I have used Neutrogena tanning lotions (never tried a spray) and they didn't make me break out in hives. I didn't like the way they smelled though and almost all self tanners smell kind of funky, so I've just accepted that when it comes to skin tone, I look like Gollum freshly emerged from his underground cave (My preciousssss.....).

If I were you, I'd look at the ingredients in the spray tanner you used, and then compare it to some other tanner that doesn't have exactly the same "inactive" ingredients, and test on a small patch. A department store might be able to give you samples of several different brands. If it ends up that it's the chemical that makes your skin color change that is giving you hives, you might be out of luck.

I've been wondering about that spray hair removal also. Ana, I also tried an at home bikini was. It was not good. I have such sensitive skin that I can't use tanning sprays. I get a rash every time. It is a bummer too because I am so pale. Does anybody know of any self tanners that might be more gentle? Sorry to get off your subject fashiongal. I have tried the lotion hair removers and they were a joke. I don't see how the sprays could be any better. They must work for somebody since they keep selling them.

Hmm...I'm not sure about spray hair removal, because I've never tried it. But I do have sensitive skin. I would recommend that whatever brand you try, definitely test a small patch somewhere on your leg first. I learned this the hard way with a bikini waxing kit (I couldn't sit down for a week).

I want to try spray hair removal but I want to know how it works. I have sensitive skin so I don't know if it will cause a rash or anything. Can somebody tell me the best brand, how it works, and how well it works.
