The glasses end up being the focal point of your face. Whenever I renew mine, which is every 4-5 years, I literally try on a few hundred pairs, in multiple shops on many parts of town. I take photos of the finalists and show them to all my friends and family.... until they are tired of me I think. But out of the process something usually emerges and I end up pretty happy with the result. </p> <p>A good trick can be to grab them off the shelves indiscriminately and try the most unlikely ones. Sometimes in the process the most unexpected pair will grab you and end up being your signature style. I did not see anything that made my heart go pitter-patter. I guess I'm after a real statement - Angie's apple green or Deb's animal spots. That said, here are a few I tried on. Sorry about pic quality. Would love to hear any suggestions on size, shape, etc.</p> <p>1 and 2. These I liked as far as basic shape goes, but they weren't too exciting, somehow.</p> <p>3-4. These are growing on me - they are teal and a close match to my eye color. I have attached a website pic of what seem to be the same pair. The teal looks much darker on.</p> <p>5-6: Well, I think we can see what DOESN'T work!</p> <p>7. These were the other possible contender, but they are pretty pricy for not being the perfect, cloud-opening pair.</p> <p>Thanks for looking! Please blame the photobomber for bad picture quality. </p>
