I feel TopContender #2 really suits your coloring and has enough presence without getting in the way of seeing YOU first vs glasses-then-you.</p> <p>I hear you on the financial cost of a $$ Rx, which I know often limits frame choices, too. [Or rather I did -- I actually had LASIK recently after 30+ years of bad nearsightedness and it's a whole new world. I appreciate the feedback. I am trying to find some olive or green frames, however have only found forest or dark olive (which I already have with my Kate Spades). Purples and reds seem to be in abundance, however the plums and wines suit me better, I think. </p> <p>#1 is actually an opaque pale to medium mauve, and #3 is a translucent plum. </p> <p>Tomorrow I will be at the optometrist. She, and her assistant liked the specs below best, and are bringing in the purple version. Somehow the white behind the black, and the pink on the arms makes it less heavy, but they are high contrast. The purple ones are backed by pink, which I'm not sure about. They feel/fit nice, though. I'm not committing, and will try on some more. </p> <p>*Sigh* this is so hard! I honestly couldn't get a good look between not being able to see without my glasses and shine from glass and mirrored surfaces. </p> <p>These pics help me, but I would like your opinion on the colours and shapes. </p>
