Yay! I'm glad they are growing on you Patience. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you can get them. I think you would end up wearing them more than you think, because you like them so much. Also, you might find they would add a lot to your outfits, too.

Thank you, ladies, for the supportive feedback!

Angie, I did mean height, so you have answered my question.

It's good to have the pictures since I don't have the glasses to try on constantly. I'm liking them more and more and more. I'm crossing my fingers to get these glasses. (It's not a given because I'm still working through the insurance plan and I've made a deal with my husband to wait till the end of the month to make sure the money is not needed for some other health related issue. Knock on wood!)

I apparently missed this thread when you posted it, sorry!

These are the winners Patience! I love love LOVE them! The specs look so light and airy, the frames are the perfect size and the combination of the blue and orange has a playful look to it, yet at the same time you look very elegant and modern.

I think these are perfect for your lovely features and gorgeous eyes, the blue 'bits' just lighten up your whole face!!

Patience, I want to answer your quezzie, but I’m confused. By “tall” do you mean height? These are far less tall than the others you posted and that’s spot on ( other than the red ones on the other post). Width is not the same as height. Look at how wide my specs are on today’s blog post, but they are not high, because I have a small face, like you. Your old glasses are too narrow for your face. Does that make sense?

Love the glasses! I was wondering if you might tire of the gradated colors on them. Do the frames come in a solid color option? Either way, I would follow Angie on this one. She is so expert at picking glasses.

These frames are brilliant. The part that surrounds your eye is not heavy so opens up nicely to your face. The burnt orange color on the arms is yummy.

I was thinking the same thing as Sarah. The red ones seem taller because the color is brighter, and I think it's a bit bold for you coloring. This new color completely changes the look. Last night, I was thinking about them. Besides the beautiful frames, and the shape, I decided my favorite thing about them is the burnt orange arms. I like them even better than I think I would like the blue arms. They really add a great pop of color without overwhelming your face. I think the blue would just kind of blend in, and not bring out your eyes as much. I vote go for this pair.

You already know what I think. Of course I love them! I say go for it. The sales girls thought so too, and they seem to know what they're doing.
In my opinion (like I told you yesterday) your old frames said "look, I'm wearing glasses" and these new ones say "I have a fabulous look".
I wonder if the red ones seemed to tall to Angie because the color is more pronounced on that pair than on this one? Not sure. I think this shape really looks great with your face shape.

Patience, I love these glasses on you! The color really brightens your face without over powering it. There is plenty of space between your eyebrows and the top of the frame so I don't think they are too high. I think the slightly larger frame looks better on your face than the smaller ones -- a bit better balance. Overall, these are great!

Okay, after Angie's response on the other thread, I'm kind of second guessing myself. My main question to Angie is-- these are the same frames as the red and green ones that you liked best on the other thread. Are they not too tall? When I tried on all of the glasses, I kept feeling like they were all too big somehow. I thought it was width, but now I'm wondering if it was height? On the other hand, my current glasses are so small, maybe I just need to get used to the size of these? I was liking them more and more as I wore them and my husband approves of the pictures.

Maya, when I was first trying on glasses with Ana and Sarah, I was wearing a cobalt blouse and Ana thought my eyes looked blue too so I thought it was interesting that you thought they were blue in the thread too. When I was young, my eyes were more hazel and I think they are getting greener as I get older but I guess they are pretty reflective of what I'm wearing.

Gasp! Yes! Patience, in my opinion those are the ones. I love these. What did the sales gal and Sarah think, and how do you feel about them? I think the shape is really flattering, and color is the most flattering that I've seen you in of all the glasses you tried. Plus, they look like your style--not really dramatic, but they make you stop and look twice because there's something about them that is really cool.

Your eyes look so green. I like them way better than your old glasses. Those look too small and make your eyes look smaller than they really are.

Sarah I went back to the store today and I tried a different color of the red and green ones I tried yesterday. I think this color is not actually on the website. Supposedly, the ones with the blue temples (521) are discontinued even though they are on the website. I think the ones I tried today have a very similar colored frame but orangey-red temples. Anyway, pics (thanks to Sarah for taking them):

http://i282.photobucket.com/al.....G_1071.jpg

Here is a pic I took yesterday of my current glasses for comparison. (I was doing a bit of a retro thing with my bangs). These glasses just do not stay on my face so they have got to go but I am very used to them.
