I take a trusted adviser with me. But yes, photos definitely help, too. My best idea is to wear a pair of contacts while trying on the frames (even though I never wear contacts, because for some reason even the most expensive ones dry out my eyes these days, even though I wore them years ago with no problems), so then I can see! I like 6 most of the choices, but all the options that work in my view are pretty similar to the ones you have, which are my flat-out faves of the group. I agree with Suz that none of the new options wow me and like her suggestion to go someplace where you can check out a different selection if your insurance covers it.Frame stores often have staff who are expert in fitting specs to faces and wardrobe, whereas opticians specialise in getting lenses right. I like that the shape is a bit different, interesting, and that the color isn't as dark, so when I look at you I can still see you, not JUST glasses. #7 is not only different than your current pair (to add variety), but I also like that it's got some personality (I see a hair of cat eye).
