Anyone know if there is a way to replace laces with ones that are not only shorter, but bypass bows, perhaps with stretch (and aren't for toddlers)? I do the shorter laces and Angie's tucking trick, with various amounts of success. Angie, I didn't really notice it until you said something, but they are long, aren't they? I can double up the knot when I tie them (I do that with a lot of my shoes anyway), which will help, or I could tuck the tied laces under the top part where the laces cross for a sleeker look. I guess I could always try new laces, although I like that the color matches the shoes.&nbsp; </p> <p>ETA: I could also stand to loosen the laces just a little, especially if I wear them with no-show socks. It's in the 80s today too and I'm resisting turning on the AC. Sheesh, typical. We go straight from temps in the 50s to the 80s, completely skipping my favorite kind of weather. :-/ </p>
