I have gotten used to wearing purple (DH's favorite color) but mostly in lighter, lavender shades. Deep purple in make-up or clothes really washes me out, but so does most deep colors. Not a redhead, but I did have significant red highlights as a child. What I personally noticed was when I went quite dark a few years ago (I'm a med/light brown), was that makeup in cool, bright colours, especially purples, worked really well too. I'm no expert on colouring, but I can visualize purples with red and imagine it is stunning! I can't do any of the light ginger shades (not without stripping out a lot of colour)&nbsp;because my natural colour is medium brown, but I can pull off a nice auburn that looks natural and works with my fair skin. Anyway, for those of you who have some version of red hair: have you noticed that purple makeup looks especially good? I've been wearing a purple lipstick lately, and I thought I wouldn't be able to wear it anymore after getting my hair done auburn, but I was surprised to see that it works even <i>better</i> than before. Who'd have thought?</p> <p> </p>
