All I was looking for previously was somewhat attractive gear for bringing my laptop to work. I like the darker, more casual and less ladylike take on a floral (vs say a Ted Baker purse, which I admire but don't quite match my style). Hershel is a Canadian-owned brand, I am not sure how much you see them in the US but they are pretty ubiquitous here and seem good sturdy quality. The only problem is that I just purchased another backpack, but I was already thinking it was more of a summer colour (it's aqua with cognac leather accents).
