I went to the bank with my dad and the financial planner had just heard two colleagues were killed ... then my neighbour found out a child from her school ... then a friend's business partner lost three friends ... a local dentist and her daughter perished ... and a family right around the corner from us lost someone. Iranian immigrants and their families are such a large part of our community; I hadn't appreciated it at all. It's just terrible. Many victims were Iranian students that were studying in Canada too and had just gone home for the holidays.
