Not sure about the color (tumeric and such can really stain badly) but if it were me, I would probably try a little oxy clean mixed in warm water, leaving it sit on the stain for maybe 20 minutes, then soaking the whole garment again with a little oxy clean and water again. Stubborn oil stains can often be removed by running hot water through the stain - you can do this by stretching the fabric over a pot or something so that the stain is in the middle and then pouring hot water just through the part with the stain.

Good luck!

Yes, I would take any stained silk to the cleaners ASAP! It's amazing what they can do (says the one who got peanut butter on her favorite silk shirt).

Poop! In my experience stain removal with oil and spices is difficult (sobbing for my metallic gold top). I would try Orange Power stain remover. Definitely take it to your trust dry cleaner. Good luck!

Good Housekeeping says to use glycerin here:
http://www.goodhousekeeping.co.....urry-may07

But of course you are dealing with silk and not cotton or something like that. Maybe it would be safest just to take it to the dry cleaner?

Help! Clumsy me dropped a curried chicken on my plain offwhite silk (mixed media) shirt. I immediately rinsed with water, but you can still see a yellow tint. :(:(:(. Any suggestions?
