I don’t understand half of what you say about fashion and I don’t understand your style, I am way more conventional and from a small far distant place. All the same you have always been so kind and thoughtful with any comments to me and never snarky, which I really appreciate. So please do stay and just dip in and out when life allows. I know life events and health/life passages like menopause can throw us for a loop. I feel like I have spent my 30 years in practice talking to women about menopause while simultaneously being pre, peri and post it myself while medicine vacillates on the best thing to do and changes its collective mind every decade or so! So I try not to be too prescriptive to women about it, just listen very carefully and set out pros and cons. I could tell you how I have been struggling with RSI these last weeks. Or that I have recently stopped HRT, which is causing my brain to rewire yet again. I do not want to talk about any of it online, but it would be true all the same.</p> <p>The truest thing of all is that I am struggling with shame and disbelief at having lost the plot so badly. I have long since withdrawn from the catastrophe that is social media. Half the time I have no idea what to say. The other half, it’s inappropriate and I should shut up. With no signs of anything getting better anytime soon, I am woefully out of practice at online communication, and if I am ever to get back on the horse, it will be from here. I cannot promise that I will do better&nbsp;next time.
