Partly it was my husband happening to say (re orange bag, which I've been using), "Is that bag new?" and I blurted out, "No." I just didn't feel like being judged, even though I am not that big into shopping, And I've come into some money recently (bike accident settlement from a few years back; not tremendous but a bit o' cash). So after that I'm thinking about it and about really maintaining in one's closet things that are truly amazing. I didn't feel like this bag made the cut exactly or stood out or had that crucial color or shape. But I somehow can't justify to myself buying, in the span of a week, two bags at that price point when the red one won't quite stand out enough and be that critical an addition to my wardrobe, if that makes sense.
