JUST kidding. Humor is so important. Most of us have probably had some pretty crappy periods in life.  I remember when my dad had a terrible accident and was brain injured  (the neurosurgeons all said he would never be a "real human being" again). I knew not to give up on him. Not only did he make them eat their words, he still JOKED while he was in the nursing home getting rehab and all the way through his recovery. He only regained about 70% of his life back and has long since passed away, but he never lost his humor and his little sideways smile when he was pulling your leg.
