My Mum and Grandma came to visit me last month, and one of the major reasons was so my Grandma could see it. She's a longtime and extremely accomplished quilter, so was really happy. (Of course she sprained her ankle getting off the plane so we had to push her through in a wheelchair, but it was okay.) </p> <p>Oh, and in the V&amp;A gift shop, they were selling all these printed cotton fabrics, with designs taken from quilts in the archives. I have (had? I have no idea where the disk is and I've gotten a new computer since I used it) a program that did that for cross stitch, even told you exactly which color of thread to use. I started a picture of my cat with it, but I never got more than 1/3 done - it was just so detailed and tiny. Something like 44 colors on a 4x6 piece of 24 count cloth (24 squares per inch - it's tiny). It's pretty incredible, even if you are not into quilting. </p>
