Also the size of the padding they use on your eyelid matters - a bigger size will give a subtler shape. </p> <p>I also use a lash curler on the tips for special occasions but FYI, it can cause the treatment to come undone quicker. For some reason I've been told mascara is okay though lol (so long as you don't remove it with oil-based products, for the reasons I mentioned). </p> <p>Me too - just painted &amp; buffed my nails yesterday. And I think it's enough. I don't know a difference between a lash lift and a lash curl, TBH. I'm a low maintenance, I even do my own nails. I get regular haircuts, though. I've been getting mine done for about a year now (it's the only beauty treatment I do, other than laser). I have similar lashes to you (naturally long but straight) &amp; always get a lash lift rather than a lash curl/ perm - it looks more natural (to my eye). </p> <p>I do agree with @Star that it can get addictive - especially once your lashes start drooping again around the 6-8 weeks mark (sooner if you usually wear mascara with it). It's just like people who go for regular haircuts - they start to feel their hairstyle looks 'messy' once the shape grows out. </p> <p>Tip: If your lashes get to that droopy stage &amp; you aren't able to get them touched up soon, you can start using an oil on your lashes to get them to all to fall evenly. Once or twice a day is enough. </p> <p>I completely understand your squeamishness about getting anything done near the eyes @Jenni &amp; @Janet! I was originally that way too but got used to it now - I actually fell asleep during my last appointment, lol! I was researching place to get my eyelashes tinted and found that there is a “eyelash lift “ service. It’s a semi permanent eyelash curl that supposedly lasts up to 8 weeks. Maybe lots of you familiar with it but the last time I tinted my lashes was in 2010! LOL<br />So, I thought I should try it. My eyelashes are long but straight without mascara.&nbsp;<div>So, I did it today and want to share my “discovery “ with you.<br />Please, see before and after.
