The bag is gorgeous. It would be a great purchase for you. I like the shoes and think they could would look good with certain dresses but not all dresses. I also am torn between the red and the black.

Is there anyway you can purchase both the red and the black. I found that both colors are "neutrals" for me. The blacks are foundation and the red makes me happy!!!

Thanks Mer and Kristin! I am currently rethinking the loafers - maybe 'pants only' shoes would be too restrictive?

Suz: I'd be happy to! Let me know if you really want it, it is a lovely bag hmm, thanks. I am still thinking over the loafers!

Mary: I have nude, brown and pink oxfords of which I use the nude and brown a lot. And I had black flats that I used so much they tore and my red flats are going the same way, since the colour goes with everything. So I'm confused between black and red since both are useful to ,me!

I don't have a strong preference on shoe color. I tend to always select black, but I am hoping to branch out this coming year. I guess I would say I like them all. What color do you use the most in your wardrobe?

I vote for burgundy loafers. They're versatile and stylish.

The bag is stunning. Can you please send me one, too? (Just joking, but seriously, it's really nice and I am sure will work into your wardrobe like a charm. Cross seasonal, too.)

I like the loafers and I know some people rock them with dresses, but it's a very specific preppy look.

The purse is great! I think either black or brown will work great for loafers, but like Meredith, I'm not sure about them with dresses.

I love the purse! The loafers would look darling with skirts and pants but I'm not sure about dresses. As far as the color is concerned they are all pretty but black or brown always seems the most versatile.

love purse, yes and more yes
loafers, they are super versatile in the type you show, not too rugged, not too feminine, I say go for it

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the bag. I think red can act as a neutral. I would also buy the shoes. I always need comfortable shoes. I buy them whenever, where ever I find them.

I went mall hopping today and while I bought only one thing, I came back with a few potential purchases that I would love your opinion on.

1.Red crossbody bag - I have just one crossbody bag, which is a reddish brown colour. While I love it, it is too heavy for summer, plus it doesn't look great with black based outfits. Hence the search for a neutral yet not brown (or black) bag. Maybe a metallic would be best, but I didn't find one anywhere.
What I found is a red crossbody bag with a gold buckle (see pic 1). I love the colour, the size is great and it would fit well into my existing wardrobe. The strap is a little long, but they said they could cut and shorten it. What do you think? Is this a versatile and worthwhile purchase?

2.Loafers - I am always on the lookout for quality flats, especially since my black flats bit the dust and my red ones are almost gone. I am also still mourning the loss of my metallic loafers. :(
So to try to fill that hole, I tried on a pair of black loafers in Hush Puppies. No exact pic of these, but they are like the ones in Pic 2 and also come in red. They are comfy and fit well, but are expensive. I'm wondering - are these as versatile as ballet flats? Would they go with dresses as well as pants? Which colour would be versatile, black or red? Help!

Thanks for listening
