It was my right foot that slipped. And yes, we have vastly different shoe sizes. I am trying another in my size. which is en route to me. I doubt it will work, but I really love the color and the fact that it's leather and not suede. My winter is so temperate that uncovered ankles is ok, but sometimes a shorter length with a jogger makes the cuff catch on my calf. I'll test it all out when I get the other size of that one too.</p> <p>I didn't take a pic of the Wit pant. I can see the appeal, but I've decided I have a pair of wider legged pants that I like more. It's not exactly the same vibe, but the Wit pants just didn't call my name. Maybe they felt a little too much like work pants I wore for a lot of years. They are quite comfortable and have a pretty rounded toe. However, they're a size 10 and I'm moving forward exclusively with a larger size 11. I thought maybe I could luck into a waterproof shoe at a reasonable price with the Blondos. However, the two I've tried on so far have not been for me. Maybe it is due to my longer toes. But I can't justify the price of the Aquatalias. I have a feeling they would be too narrow for me anyway. I mostly like the waterproof part for travel, so not going to go too high in price to get that feature. There will be something out there for me. I've got one more blondo en route, so guessing that will be unlikely. I have not seen a Munro boot pop back in stock in my size. If I do I'll try that one. Otherwise, I'll probably take a break and look again later. There's lots of brands and lots of stores. and I'll find something I like. I have the olive in the larger size en route to compare. I do wish these things were made a couple inches longer, but love all the pockets for my walks. I'm going to try on again to make sure I like. It's currently a maybe for me.</p> <p>The tee is a Zella raglan breezy one that should be fairly cooling. It's called a mesh tee. It's not in the sale, but I do like it a lot. The tee comes in pink which might be enticing to others this year. It looks too see through in white for my taste. I also love a raglan tee that fits my wider shoulders without constriction.&nbsp;</p> <p>The Blondo Shanna got a try on, but forgot to take a pic. It's a no for me. I see that Angie says it's good for wider feet and shorter toes. I found it a little pointy for me and I certainly cannot claim to have short toes. I did not find it to run very wide though. It also confirmed to me that I would like a boot with a higher shaft than this one has.</p> <p>I'm really working my way through the black boots with a lot of no's. But they seem to feel comfortable on my waist, and softer than many other brands, and I need that.</p> <p>Pat_P - bummer about the taupe boots. It doesn't bode very well for the second pair I have coming. Let's just say I have very low expectations on them at this point. But what I really like about them is they are a slightly different tan color than the usual tan boots I see out there. I sent them to my local N. Rack to make myself return the no's on the spot. Several items are not arriving until next week, but here is some feedback in case it is helpful.</p> <p>1-2. Nordstrom moto boot in taupe. I hadn't originally considered this color, but it works nicely with bookending and my wardrobe. The one review says the shoe runs narrow, but I do not think that it does. However, it was a bit slippy on only one of my heels. This is unusual for me. Generally, if it slips on one it will slip on the other. I decided to return and reorder in case a second pair is any different. I'd like this to work, so I'm going through extra effort that maybe I shouldn't. However, I won't force it if the same happens on the second pair.</p> <p>3. Franco Sarto black moto boot. Not very soft around the ankle. It just felt massive on my foot. I know I wanted a stompy boot, but I've realized I need at least some measure of refinement and this isn't it. An easy return. I love a mid calf boot though.</p> <p>4 Zella tee and Caslon skirt. Tee fits TTS and I like the pretty purple. The skirt I took in my bigger size. It may end up being a little loose, but I don't want a snug fit. These are the two keeps so far for me.&nbsp;It was over 110F/44C today, and this is the type of outfit I can wear today. I did a sit test and the front zip does not cause any problems with showing too much.</p> <p>It may be another week to get the rest of the items. I was only able to order the Zella jogger in the smaller of my two sizes, and I am guessing I will want the larger size. I lemming'd the W&amp;W pants, and ordered those. I've been wearing Wit jeans and pants for probably a decade though, so they may work. Also, I've scatter shot a few other black Blondo boots. I will see if the Munro boots come in my size, but they weren't available when the sale opened to me.</p> </p> <p>Pic 5 - Blondo Ginny. Not keeping. The leather was softer around the foot, which I appreciate. But too stiff around the ankle to wear with a low sock with skirts. Might work if you’re wearing thick socks that end over the boot height, but I hate wearing thick socks. </p> <p>ETA Pic 6-7 - Zella breezy tee not in sale and Zella jogger in the smaller of my two sizes. I wish there was a little more length on the jogger, but I snagged a return in the larger size in olive to just compare. The tee is good for me. Raglan sleeves are comfortable and the mesh tee is not see through in the darker color. Enough length for my long torso without being super long.</p> </p>
