I wore mine today, all day, and thought of you. If it's the ankles that concern you, they do soften a bit with wear. Where I've found no softening at all are the "shoe" parts of the boots. They're still very stiff there. My peeve with boots is that they are never tall enough to be true knee highs (even my 20 hole docs, sigh), so I think as long as its not long enough to rub behind your knee when you sit down, its all good!! Are the boots too tall? I stuck a little tag in one of them to make the height clearer. If they're not too tall, I'll keep them for a week and see if they soften up a bit because right now they are too stiff. But if they are too tall, I'll just send them back. I feel like it's just wishful thinking on my part because they are so cute. Sigh.</p> <p>The Nicole oxfords are fantastic. A little loose so I'm going to try a half size down, but they are dreamy in terms of looks and comfort. LOVE. </p>
