So one is in the gratitude and not the anxious hope. It's a much stronger, calmer state for the psyche. As a fellow thin-hair (but thankfully curly) gal I absolutely understand how the addition of volume affects everything about what you wear and how you feel. Nearly all of my "doing hair" time is spent getting volume in there. It is the #1 reason I am a mood dresser honestly -- I do my hair FIRST and then decide what to wear based on what it's doing on a given day. And as a fellow IT I personally like having my hair bigger because it softens my shoulder line and adds some balancing size to my smallish head :)</p> <p>FWIW I find your natural hair pretty and ethereal, something sooooo different from my own. You guys are so kind and supportive. I take it one day at a time, one appartement visit ata time, not much else to do!</p> <p>About the wigs: I have secured a consult with a wig stylist here who looks very proficient -i’ve seen her workshop- and she will help customize the blonder wig in terms of size. I think it might be a little bit too big. If I don’t secure it with a band and double-sided tape, it progressively slides back during the day, leaving me with a larger and larger forehead as hours tic by. It also seem to bunch up on the back sides at the base of the cap, which affects how hair falls. I feel the hair looks unnaturally puffed there, which in turn looks wig-like and somewhat fake. It certainly is a process. By the way these were not your average costume Halloween wigs. Both wigs look good on you, and your proportions are good in the outfits. I can imagine it takes some time getting used to a higher volume style (even if it’s not in any way weird to look at for me). When I had my hair permed and it was very curly immediately after, I often felt strange cqtching myself in a mirror or window somewhere.
