It has been awhile since I posted. Thought I'd share some random finds.</p> <p>The first is a leopard shirt with an interesting pearl collar detail. Just in time for today's blog post, which is about wearing your favorites, no matter whether or not they are in right now. I find I tend to not wear a trend until a few years after it passes. So here that would be the high-buttoned collar that was de rigeur a few years ago. It also reminds me of Joan Crawford in Johnny Guitar, which I just saw.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>This is paired with black Calvin Klein jeans and some found winter boots (last picture).</p> <p>Second is a hanging out outfit from yesterday. Starts with a cocoa lounge dress, then I got cold. Necessity is the mother of invention, and I was bored with my sweaters, so I threw on my boyfriend's Hawaiian shirt. (Then I got colder and added one of my regular sweaters.)</p> <p>Last is a really cool lightweight zip hoodie that I thrifted. Look carefully at the design--it's an outdoor market scene, probably a foreign country. It stole my heart.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p>
