This was a surprise to me: most of my patterns are nearly equally represented even though some I like more than others (3-4 pieces). I think I have added some stripes and florals when I wanted pattern because they're so easily available. Checks, plaid and houndstooths were more deliberately added when they became available. Novelty prints like my giraffe print dress and bird blouse occasionally come into my wardrobe when I really like the complete piece.
