Sometimes the "new" thing is the right thing at that moment!</p> <p>I love the perfect shirt. I've seen that in the store and the print is just luscious; the fit is beautiful on you. I'd like to try that.</p> <p>I wear my Teddies a lot: I have blue-and-white seesucker stripe, black, and burgundy. They have become my go-to pants for work and I am tempted to add one more color because I love them so much. I wear a variety of things on top (long loose top with short jacket, fitted sweater with long jacket, etc.). Key is wearing the right shoes. If you are wearing flats, pointy is best. Otherwise, heels -- even small ones -- look fantastic. As for booties, I really like the look of my nude suede booties with them. Crew and Nordstrom a few days ago, so I thought I'd provide a review.</p> <p>Perfect-fit shirt from J. Crew:  I love this shirt!  The fit is indeed perfect in a way that button-downs have not been for me recently--it has subtle darting in the bust area and is shaped for hips, rather than being straight up and down.  I got it yesterday and promptly wore it to work today.  Read the rave reviews.  Pictures below. I found it TTS.  It's a slimmer fit through the mid-section but is cut to accommodate the bust.</p> <p>Petite Teddie pants from J. Crew--these seem fine to me, though I think I'd need to properly style them to see if I can work them into outfits.  How are people wearing their teddies?  I got them in navy.  </p> <p>Wide-leg ponte pant from J. Crew: didn't really love these.  Maybe I'll try the plaid culottes instead. </p> <p>Willow and Clay skirt from Nordstrom:  as soon as I pulled out the skirt, I realized I'd be returning it--it's covered in beading, and the beading was already falling off and beads were constantly skittering on my floor. It also runs super small.</p> <p>Cece cold shoulder top:  I didn't love the material, so this is going back too.</p> <p>The R&amp;B gilet that I bought at the lower price arrived too!  Just in time for cooler weather </p>
