Denise, you're making me blush... The funny thing is I think the same of you every time I see you!

The reason for both lack of leg exposure and relatively preserved skin is the same - cold climate with not a lot of sun exposure! :) I get sun when I can, but overall it's just not that much. Same reason the legs don't get bared often.

It's only because of YLF that I have begun to consider them an asset - I was also told they were too skinny and knock-kneed.

Julie, I really appreciate that. I've been trying to think of the grey factor as neutral - because attributing meaning to a natural hair color just seems counter-productive at this point. If anything, I'm going to embrace it. Thankfully, it's been kind of a fun process - like a highlight job taking a really loooooooong time. :D

I'm loving the denim shirt and suede skinnies on you, perhaps there is a cross over between rate and soft with edge in these pieces?

The running gear suits you fantastically.

Greying hair is often viewed as a loss but you are showcasing how grey hair can add another dimension to personal style.

It's been 4 plus years I've been following you on YLF... WHY have you been hiding those legs all this time??? You must keep those shorts and wear ones like these as often as possible. You have beautifully shaped legs and the skin of a 20-something.

Oh and everything else suits you well. Love your Easter outfit, please wear those pants more often.

Beth Ann, you're a smart lady! I've discovered that what works best for me on workdays is a smaller bag that fits in a tote (my navy Brahmin which is a workhorse). That way I can carry lunch, files, etc. and take out the smaller purse if we go out or to a meeting. A big bag just results in havoc, but a small bag doesn't fit all I need. I have a tomato red Kate Spade mini-satchel that's been working really well, but I wanted a change when red doesn't work (like with green...).

It's this Kate Spade, but I got it for $70 in Boston at TJ Maxx!

Shevia, you are sweet! I was a little shocked at just how white it is - I can't see the top although everyone else can. o_O But no going back now! I think I may be wearing lighter colors soon with the hair change. Right now I'm really into black and white!

Jackie, I agree the half-tuck isn't the best look, although that's how the stock photo shows it. I like the whole frayed hem hanging out!

Love the top, Una! It's a natural for your wardrobe, I think. The pants are fabulous, too, as long as they don't feel clammy, as some pleather does. The bag is a fun piece, but I wonder how often you'd carry a casual, small bag -- do you have a few occasions or situations in mind?

ROG wants me to wear my metallic gold pants. Maybe I should have done it for Easter. As it was I went with rather unusual colors for spring...olive and orange.

New stuff is great too. For some reason I don't like the semi-tuck as much with the fringed hem. Why is that? I prefer it untucked. Cool bag.

Love the shirt on you! Too bad you & I can't average our calves; then calf fit wouldn't be an issue for either of us!

The running shorts look fine to me. I think what makes them work is that they are cut fairly narrow. If they were super wide and you were sitting with your knees up, then everyone could see up the wazoo. That doesn't look like the case here.

I am impressed by the evenness of your gray. My temples only are pretty white, most of my top is like yours, and my back is only a little gray. Go figure. It was the roots showing at the temples that caused me to stop coloring. I feel like the gray adds an element of RATEness to my look and makes me feel more authentic. How about you?

I really like the top --- the RATE edge, and the the pale color look GREAT on you -- both tucked and not. I think the bag is fun too if you love it and it feels at home with various outfits.

The skinnies are reading a little too baggy at the calves for me to judge (it may be that I just have difficulty with that cut in leather-like pants)

I think the shorts are just fine for running -- both gear items look good to me.

Great that the mermaid fish/tail pants got an outing at Easter! :)

In an effort to restart my fashion mojo, a couple of new items are being tested. These are not out of my comfort zone and are more variations on a theme, but I'd like to know your thoughts.

1/2: Maybe my denim shirt? It's got a ragged hem which I like and Is a little oversized. Also these faux suede skinnies from PIperlime which I basically got for free with rewards, and of course the Rebecca Minkoff fringe bag.

3. A top and running shorts from Athleta. Here's where you can see I'm a true IT, all shoulders, no hips. Are the shorts obscene for running?

4. What I wore for Easter. Old Heed UWP sweater, shiny slouchy pants that have been in my closet for a year unworn.

5. Snowcap!

6. Kona on the deck enjoying the sun

All feedback welcome!
