That ATL dress is gorgeous on you. I love it. What a killer ensemble! I'm with Kim on the first dress--it's not as fabulous but it is really cute for a more casual day. I would be inclined to keep it.

I only know PPL with bootcuts so can't offer any help. I'll be interested to see the results.

I'm with QM on this one. If you have a ton of dresses, then I might take the Target one back. But for a casual day, I think it fits the bill.

Yes, I agree that the ATL dress looks better in the upper arm area...And maybe it's due to our gloomy Seattle light, but I believe the lighter colored striped dress looks much brighter (and better) with your hair and coloring than the predominantly grey Target dress.

While the ATL dress is smashing on you, I think the Target dress will serve a different purpose. I picked that dress up yesterday as well, and I see myself throwing it on for a very casual easy day, while the ATL dress looks a bit dressier to me. I find inexpensive, flattering, casual summer day dresses SO hard to find that I would suggest you consider holding on to it if you are in need of a super casual dress.

Agree with Angie (no surprise!): the white sleeveless dress looks wonderful, the first dress is okay (it's actually quite cute on you, just not in comparison to the second dress), and the pants look great but it's hard to tell about their length.

Looking for the tummy... hrm, nothing. You look smashing in that ATL dress -- no need for the Target one, just wear the other twice as often!

And, because you asked, want to add that your tummy looks great in the ATL dress too!

It's funny, I opened your first pic, and thought that is cute on her, then I clicked to the second and thought that dress is killer on her!!!! So, my thought is that the ATL dress outshines the 1st dress by a mile, and why keep something that isn't stellar on you, right?!?!?

Yeah Angie, I generally have to agree, I don't think I actually own anything with cap sleeves as I don't often like them on me! Perhaps this will have to go back unless everyone likes it enough that perhaps I could have the sleeves tailored to be sleeveless. Not sure I need 2 stripped dresses anyways though, the ATL one was always going to stay unless you all didn't like from the side.

You will, Amy - in May we can go sans hose!

Sorry that I can't see the length of the pants well enough to offer my 2 cents. Try next week when the clocks have changed back? Longer days are on the way.

If you don't mind Amy, I'm going to make an example of you and sleeves. The ATL dress is killer! The Target dress is not in the same league. To my eye, you look a million times better in sleeveless garments when compared to cap sleeves.

Pic #1 - Ok, so I saw the striped dress TexasSarah bought and it looks so great on her I had to have it. Here it is on me and I like it, but feel like it would be a little bit cuter a few inches shorter. Now the question is do I need both this and the dress in pic #2 and #3

Pics #2-3 - Just picked this up on sale at ATL and I think it will be great for the summer and on my honeymoon in Italy! However, does my tummy stick out too much on the side view - be honest!

Pics #4-9 - I have been wanting a pair of slim black pants, right now all i have are boot cuts and a super skinny ponte pair. So I got these on sale for $40 at the ATL sale and think they fit the bill. Plus they are a stretchy fabric that is really comfy and I think they will also work for going out on chilly nights in the summer with sandals. Question is, they are definitely a slim leg, but not as slim as my pants that i definitely get hemmed shorter. So do I go shorter on the foot so the back covers heel of shoe, or do I go a little longer on front of foot so back comes about mid way down heel. They are too slim to do full length, tried that also and looked goofy. So #4 is full length shot, # 5 is comparison shot, # 6 is longer lenghth from front, #7 is longer length from side, #8 is shorter length from front, and # 9 shorter length from side.

Sorry lighting sucks, I tried to rush home and get the last of the Seattle light, but it isn't happening! In case you are wondering, I am very cranky about the weather and wondering if I will ever get to wear a cute dress without having to worry about tights!
