I don't know anything about pantyhose (I hate wearing it and haven't done so for years), but if you want to try the slip route again, Gap has a pretty short half slip. The weight of the material isn't bad, either--I just bought the full version, and it has a decent thickness (in my limited opinion).

I also wanted to reply to bump your post back to the top. It might actually be a good idea to create a new post with your new question, so that people can see right away what they need to respond to--sometimes people don't read all the responses in a thread, and so they don't see that a new question has been asked. :^)

Ladies,
You are amazing! Thank you!

Now that I am on the topic of bottoms without lining, I also remember that I have a skirt which does not have lining. I used to have a pantyhouse which worked really well, much better than the slip I used to wear the skirt with. Now I've either lost the pantyhouse or may be it's lost its smoothness from the washing, and I rarely wear that skirt.

Any recommendations on how you'd deal with a skirt without a lining? or where to get a smooth kind of pantyhose? I definitely wear a pantyhose with it, whether I wear a slip or not. I've searched for appropriate slips, but they always come just at the length or a bit below the skirt's length, and I find that the lining will easily show when I sit. So I'd rather avoid getting a separate slip and just wear a pantyhose.

If you'll be wearing these pants for winter, you could try Cudd'l Duds. They're long underwear, but they're not that waffle-type fabric--they're smoother and made out of nylon, I think. I used to have a pair, and my pants glided on very nicely over them. They do have a bit of thickness to them too, so I imagine they'd help camouflage the cellulite.

You could also possibly check out the Winter Silks website. I got some long silk underwear from them. It is very thin, however, so I don't know if it will have the effect you're hoping. I got the 100% silk underwear; they might have thicker fabrications with other materials (like cotton) thrown in.

You could also try tights or even thin leggings.

Good luck!

Hi all,

I am in search of a brown pair of pants, and I've noticed some at Express or other places which I like as a color, but I do not buy them because they do not have lining. So my question is: is there any type of undergarment I could buy that will solve the problem. Pants or skirts with no lining a very tricky for me since some fabric show the cellulite and it just looks horrible.

I was thinking about getting one of those slimming undergarments (something like this: http://www.alibaba.com/product.....Suits.html)

But the problem which I see with an undergarment like that is that the line mid-thigh, where the undergarment ends, will show through the pants.

If you have suggestions, I will appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.
