They sweat, so plastic shoes or any closed toe shoe that I can't wear socks with are a bad idea. My feet are narrow, so slip-ons slip right off my feet. And I wear a 5.5, so my size is rarely stocked (and if it's in stock, it's the display pair, which are sometimes damaged, or one of the pair is faded if it has been out on display too long, etc). In the Spring I will wear with dark jeans and black straight leg and ponte pants with tunics. I also have a pair of red skinnies I am going to try them with.
