I just ordered 3 pairs of boots from sofft shoes.

When walking around the house they were fine. It was when I went to work after an hour the pain in my foot was so painful I had to take them off.

The boots squeezed my foot causing pressure on the ball of the foot. I tried to return the boots they never returned my email. I finally called and asked if there was anything they can do. No, was the consistent answer. Their customer service is rude and they never return emails. These shoes/boots are not worth the money. Stay away from this company.

I have purchased a couple of pairs of Sofft shoes hoping they would work for me because they are cute, but I haven't had much luck. They seem to slip in the heel area or are too tight in the toe area. I tried the gel inserts-not the ones Angie mentioned, granted- but my toes felt smushed. I guess they just aren't made for feet like mine. Hope you have better luck!

Thanks for the headsup san. I'll try walking around the house with heel grips and then decide if I want to return them.

I have that exact shoe that Niva posted. They are OK and certainly more cushy than some but they are still high heels and make my feet contort to a position that they don't like. I bought them in a size that didn't feel so tight on my feet and took them out of town to a wedding and surprise they wouldn't stay on when I walked. I had to resort to plan B for the wedding. Later I took the heels back and got a smaller size that they stretched for more comfort. The shoes were actually squeezing my feet in pain just sitting at the table with them on for 2 hours, before the stretching.
I also have a gladiator stype from that company and they are patent leather that digs into my foot. I have to agree with Maya that they seem somewhat narrow. They certainly have a cushy footbed though.

Thanks to all who have shared their experiences.

Niva, I love those!

Maya, I especially appreciate input from people with picky feet! My foot is not narrow overall, but my heel is narrow, so that actually might be good for me. But since the Pilar is one I was specifically looking at, I'm sad to hear that the leaher is stiff. I don't like stiff.

I'll keep everyone's input in mind.

I know I don't count because my feet are unusually temperamental, and things that are usually comfy on everyone else end up hurting my feet, but I have to say I do not like Sofft shoes. They always seem to run narrow, so that their wide width fits like a medium, and their medium like a narrow. I had the Pilar ballet flat in a 6.5W and it fit like a 6 medium. The leather was extremely stiff and cut into my big toe joint. I was in so much pain when I got home from the mall. I also tried the Raya sandal which did not stay on my foot in any width. Maybe their pumps are better but their flats are always uncomfortable to me.

I scored these for $25 at Marshall's last week but haven't worn them yet and they keep slipping off. I'm normally a 6.5 but I found the 6.5s pinched my toes, so I got them in a 7. I walked around in them at home and they are quite comfortable. I need to find some thing to keep them from slipping (and I think Angie already mentioned that might help in one of her posts)

I also have a pair of Sofft heels which I find to be super comfy. I have never needed to wear them for more than a couple of hours so I can't say whether they would be 10 hour shoes (is there such a thing as 10 hour heels???). I suspect that the flats would be a good bet as 10 hour shoes though.

Yes, I remember Sofft being discussed on the forum before and they got high marks for comfort. Of course it still could vary between different styles - just like with Me Toos, some styles are superbly comfy and others are just okay.

I have a pair of Sofft heels and they are comfy -- flats might be 10-hour shoes. They run big, so if you are between sizes, I'd err on the small side.

It seems like there have been lots of shoe posts the last couple days. There are a couple styles that I'm interested in (like these: http://www.6pm.com/n/p/p/7337760/c/1141.html, http://www.6pm.com/n/p/p/7296056/c/3.html)

Anyone have Sofft shoes? Could they qualify as 10 hour flats if the fit is right? Experience with fit?

TIA
