(Tarzy, these boots are Steve Maddens). I like the idea of black, or even something patterned (like a stripe).</p> <p>As far as whether or not I was cold--I was actually very comfortable except for the few minutes I had to pump gas in my car. But going from store to car, and walking around the mall was actually nice. I do tend to overheat, so having bare legs under my skirt was a little built in air conditioning. But keep in mind, I live in a rural area where shopping involves either an indoor mall, or getting in my car and driving to one location, then getting back in my car to drive to another location. So it's not like I'm walking up and down sidewalks in and out of stores.</p> <p>I will definitely wear this look again--when it is appropriate. It's not crazy in my book. Besides it looking sassy (who doesn't like a glimpse of skin?) and often more casual/funky, I personally find it more comfortable. I tend to run warm, and often find hose or tights uncomfortably warm and restricting. I do wear them occasionally, but I'm always glad when it's mild enough to go without.
