A very well co-ordinated outfit. The tee cleverly brings it all together, and the socks add a bit of sparkly glam. Four attempts <ol> <li>Socks with cropped jeans. Subtle and something I would do anyway.  </li> <li>Long sports socks like the teens. The pink socks were worn with bike shorts. It was not a specially flattering look (Princess Diana could do it) but I might repeat at some stage. I didn't show the full length shot.  The other shot is more of a riff off the Hayley Bieber gym look. I borrowed a jacket for the shot (I was going to yoga). </li> <li>Socks with sneakers and cords.  Pretty 1970s with my Bruce tee and denim jacket.  The cords look too small in this photo - they are a bit too short but they are actually a good fit in reality.  I would have worn this in 1979 except with an Olivia Newton John tee rather than Bruce (not that I owned an ONJ tee...)</li> </ol> It's an easy way to have fun with fashion.  From a flattery perspective short or no show socks lengthen the leg and provide more structure - but I am not always putting flattery at the top of my list any more.
