If you didn't see 100%, you didn't see it. The sun is so bright, we couldn't tell anything was happening unless we put our glasses on and looked right at the sun. What we saw then was amazing, even to the cynical teenager. And then when the sun was completely covered, of course, no glasses were needed to experience that part. The best part was&nbsp;we&nbsp;had the&nbsp;Frosty Treats truck come and serve ice cream. My friend &amp; I cried, others were whooping and hollering. DH was busy absorbing as much science stuff as he could. We drove into the path of totality and it was INCREDIBLE. Probably the coolest thing I've seen in my life. People lined up along the side of the road and applauded the moon. It was right around noon and we could see the stars.
