With Mad Men and my other favorites on hiatus, it was a welcome return! Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are so excellent in it.</p> <p>I'm a bit obsessed with Game of Thrones. I watched the first season, read the first book, watched the second season, read the second book, and then lost all patience and had to keep reading! So I'm on the fourth book now. </p> <p>Outside of the TV/entertainment world, I'm currently obsessed with finding a way to work with my photographs to incorporate them into fabric and fashion. I have been fascinated with the photo print items in the stores (Anthro has had a few), but I have to admit I've liked the concept better than the executions I've seen so far. So what better way to fix that than to make my own! I'll need to recruit a seamstress once I master the printing process and work up the sketches. Who knows, I've worked in so many areas of design -- why not fashion? </p> <p>I'm also spending too much time looking at kitchen and bath renovation ideas. I am heading out this afternoon to pick a tub and shower. I met with the sales agent yesterday to ask about moving a wall and it was no problem so now I have enough room in the ensuite to have a bigger shower. I have to decide whether to add an extra foot to the MBR or the ensuite and WIC in the next few days so the shower selection is high on my list. </p> <p>As to TV, I really enjoy Game of Thrones, Fringe (kind of a current X-files), and Modern Family for comedy. I don't actually own a TV, so it's all on the net, which has the advantage and sterling disadvantage of being able to (enticed to?) watch stuff back-to-back if I time myself well. Thus far this quarter, I've caught up on the usual suspects (Bones, Mentalist, Falling Skies), but the ones I'd really recommend are Sherlock and Downton Abbey; I'm also a fan of Midsomer Murders and *cannot* fathom why we're left high and dry mid-season!</p> <p>I've been running low on foodie shows (the last I enjoyed was Jamie's Great Britain), so thanks, Shannon, for the heads-up.
